Salary circa 60k plus twice yearly profit share Join a growing employee-owned organisation Fantastic benefits package This is a site based role What will you be doing as the Finance Lead; Lead and develop the Finance team, creating a high-performing and collaborative working environment. Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders, providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making. Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and analysis. Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting across the organisation. Translate complex financial information into meaningful business insights for non-financial stakeholders. Develop financial models, business cases and ROI analysis to support investment decisions and future growth. Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Identify opportunities to improve and automate financial processes and reporting. Manage relationships with external auditors and support statutory reporting requirements. Work closely with department managers to monitor budgets, performance and financial planning. Drive continuous improvement across the finance function and contribute as a member of the senior leadership team. What do you need for the position of Finance Leader; Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA). Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline. Previous experience in a senior finance leadership role. Strong commercial awareness with the ability to influence strategic business decisions. Experience leading and developing finance teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly to colleagues at all levels. Strong systems knowledge, including accounting software, ERP systems, CRM databases and Power BI. Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Manufacturing, engineering or employee-owned business experience would be advantageous. Permanent position Salary commensurate with experience Monday to Friday working hours (Days) Site based role What you will be doing as a Laboratory Assistant To assist the Lab Team in maintaining Laboratory standards and timely execution of daily duties The Laboratory Assistant responsible for maintaining the hygiene standards in the laboratory and coordinating the daily work requirements with the Senior Lab Technician and Lab Technicians Maintaining the laboratory hygiene reporting records and forms Ensuring the laboratory is maintained with clean laboratory utensils, washing up of the same and storing adequately. Maintaining expendable stock levels and timely reporting of stock status Accurate recording of the stock Ensuring all reference samples are correctly labelled and stored as per requirements. A little about You Preferred experience with working in a food preparation environment or laboratory. Preferred experience in a strict hygiene controlled environment alternately a stock control background would be advantageous You will demonstrate an appropriate level of literacy and numeracy.
