Electrical Site Supervisor Commercial
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £40,000 - £48,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
ARC is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to oversee commercial projects across Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
This role is well-suited to a qualified electrician with proven site supervision experience, who can lead teams, manage workloads, and ensure electrical installations and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate electrical works on commercial projects.
- Lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and quality of work.
- Oversee installations, testing, and maintenance to meet industry regulations and company standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure site health & safety compliance.
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of works.
- Provide technical support and guidance to electricians on site.
- Monitor progress against project plans, reporting back on performance and any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities and project documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS7671).
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
- Previous experience supervising teams on commercial projects.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
- Ability to manage workloads, meet deadlines, and resolve on-site challenges.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.
