A market leading manufacturer of electronics components is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join their Taunton facility. With a background in Engineering, Science or similar, and experience selling Electronics, Microelectronics or similar, you will join the Sales Team, supporting customers with their orders. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will work with the Sales team, to support customers with their product and service choices. Within the role you will be working closely with a diverse range of customers across the UK, with a focus on providing both technical support and commercial information/pricing etc. On a daily basis you will be talking with Engineers, Scientists, Researchers and Managers via phone and email, with occasional visits to customer sites. Your role will be to understand customer requirements, suggest the best solutions and provide availability and pricing. The successful candidate will have both strong technical, and communication skills, and should be highly organised with a focus on providing excellent customer support. Product training will be given, but and understanding of engineering / science / electronics is required.
