They are now looking for a Children's Health Promotion Activity Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37 hours per week.

The Role

As a Children's Health Promotion Activity Coordinator, you will support children aged 5-11 to make positive health and wellbeing choices.

Working closely with local partners, schools and youth organisations, you'll plan and run creative, engaging sessions that make healthy eating, physical activity and emotional wellbeing fun and accessible.

Leading a five-week programme, you'll deliver after-school, Saturday and holiday sessions that motivate service users to set achievable goals, celebrate progress, and discover the joy of living well together.

Additionally, you will:

- Promote sessions within the community

- Maintain accurate attendance, feedback and outcome records

- Comply with safeguarding, safety, and data protection requirements

About You

To be considered as a Children's Health Promotion Activity Coordinator, you will need:

- Experience delivering health promotion sessions or focused group work to children and young people

- Experience in safeguarding children and maintaining accurate records

- Strong knowledge of public health priorities, health inequalities, and determinants of health

- Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills

- The availability to regularly work Saturdays

- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or experience in health, education, social work, or a related field
