Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Days (Potential to Earn £55,000 - £60,000)

My client who are based in the Dungannon area are a forward thinking manufacturing company who are great to work for and therefore have a low turnover of staff. They haven't recruited in this department for a number of years so this is a great opportunity. At the moment they are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with recent experience working in the manufacturing sector. On offer is an annual salary of £48,686, pension, 30 holidays, death in service 3 times your annual salary and private healthcare.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (4 hrs) paid at time and a half 1 in 2
• Sunday (6 - 8 hrs) paid double rate

Role - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance.
• Conduct fault finding and repair on various items of plant and equipment.
• Identify and implement improvements on equipment.
• Conduct regular checks/inspection of plant equipment.
• As part of your daily routine undertaking condition based monitoring of all plant and equipment.
• Assist with the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, equipment and components.
• Regular maintenance of pneumatic, hydraulic and steam equipment and components.

Person - Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Time served in Mechanical Maintenance with recent mechanical maintenance experience gained within a production/process driven environment
• Welding experience.
• Ability to carry out general bench and fabrication work.
• Hands on approach to solving problems and achieving results is a must.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and reporting skills.
