You ll be managing and maintaining state of the art recording studios and rehearsal spaces, supporting lessons, delivering enrichment sessions and providing technical expertise during studio sessions, live events, and performances. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your professional experience into an educational setting and make a real difference to creative learners. What you ll do: Manage day-to-day studio operations, ensuring all facilities and equipment are maintained and ready for use Set up, operate, and maintain recording, mixing, and mastering equipment Provide technical and creative support during classes, assessments, and performances Demonstrate correct use of professional DAWs (Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Live, etc.) Assist students in developing their technical and production skills Maintain and update equipment inventories, software licenses, and booking systems Support live performances, showcases, and college events Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding policies What we re looking for: Proven experience working in a professional recording studio or live sound environment Strong technical knowledge of audio signal flow, studio setup, and recording techniques Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (Logic Pro essential; others desirable) Experience with digital and analogue recording equipment and mixing consoles Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organisational skills Strong communication and teamwork skills, especially when supporting young people Relevant qualification in Music Technology, Audio Engineering, or a related field Flexible and proactive approach willing to work occasional evenings or weekend. This position is for 34 hours per week, 40 weeks per year: Monday & Tuesday - 9am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-4pm, Thursday & Friday 9am-5pm.
