Elevation Recruitment Group's Engineering Service Division is supporting an innovative OEM company based in West Yorkshire to recruit an Aftermarket Service Engineer to provide ongoing reliable and compliant aftermarket engineering services to their UK and Overseas customers. The Aftermarket Service Engineer role is incredibly varied and will include daily activities such as: Client Site Based -Servicing, Revalidation, Upgrade, and Sales of spare parts enquiries (to be passed to your colleagues).Responsibilities of the Aftermarket Service Engineer: Carrying out annual on-site servicing of all relevant equipment within the product range Airflow and filter integrity testing Calibration of pressure and velocity devices, including pressure transmitters and switches Particle testing Electrical fault finding Maintain allocated test equipment, ensure calibration is correct to certification standards Ensure that all sales prospects and enquiries are professionally relayed back to the office for effective processing Ensure the correct execution of all company documentation inclduing service and status reporting and calibration checks Participate in other engineering tasks, for example, relocations and upgrade work Skills and Experience for the Aftermarket Service Engineer include: Experience within Air Flow Testing, Filter integrity testing, and calibration of tooling and testing equipment in a technical environment such as medical, bio-medical, pharmaceutical or nuclear (knowledge of GMP would be an advantage) Field Service, Installations, repair and commissioning experience within an OEM company Engineering Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Mechanical skillset HND/HNC in Engineering would also be an advantage Qualifications in Testing, DOP, Particle counting, Airflows would also be advantageous Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to recommend machinery or component upgrades If you are an experienced and qualified Aftermarket Service Engineer from a highly technical background looking for a new challenge, please apply!
