If so, then this could be the role for you! Marsden Building Society are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their well-established and talented Finance Team. Responsible for working independently, the successful candidate will lead on all aspects of management accounting including the preparation of management accounts and cost budgeting/forecasting and planning, taxation and the preparation of the Annual Report and Accounts. The Senior Management Accountant will and oversee all accounting operations, systems and processes, undertaking all aspects of Cost Accounting, Revenue Recognition, Management and Reconciliation of the Nominal Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations (including Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger) and managing all banking, payment and back-office settlements in an accurate and compliant way. They will ensure adherence to the Society framework for cost management, working closely with business leads to ensure they are fully cognisant of the cost implications of activities under their control, and effectively managing expenses.
