Job Summary We are seeking skilled and reliable Class 1 LGV Container Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage routes effectively. There are opportunities for both curtain side multi drop and container deliveries. Nights out will be required with the possibility of additional weekend working. Duties Operate your vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all drivers hours and working time regulations. Deliver goods to various locations as per the scheduled routes, maintaining punctuality. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Ensure that following loading your vehicle is in a safe condition for transport. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transit whilst using the company online platform. Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients upon delivery. Qualifications Valid commercial driving licence (C licence). Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable. ADR qualification an advantage. Splitter experience an advantage. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations is crucial.
