The Role: Lead Surveyor

Moxie is proud to be working with a forward-thinking housing association in Hampshire, seeking a Lead Surveyor to take charge of disrepair claims. You'll represent the organisation in legal matters, including court appearances. This is a key role for someone with both technical credibility and the presence to influence.

Day-to-Day:

  • Represent the organisation as an Expert Witness in court.
  • Prepare Part 35-compliant expert reports.
  • Manage legal disrepair claims in line with the Pre-Action Protocol.
  • Conduct and oversee detailed technical inspections and defect analysis.
  • Resolve complex disputes and support legal teams with expert insights.

What You'll Need:

  • Building Degree MCIOB (or equivalent experience) or RICS
  • Proven experience acting as an expert witness in disrepair for Social housing
  • In-depth knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regulations, Planning Permission, and Asbestos compliance.
  • Strong understanding of disrepair legislation and housing conditions protocol.
  • Full UK driving license.
