The Role: Lead Surveyor
Moxie is proud to be working with a forward-thinking housing association in Hampshire, seeking a Lead Surveyor to take charge of disrepair claims. You'll represent the organisation in legal matters, including court appearances. This is a key role for someone with both technical credibility and the presence to influence.
Day-to-Day:
- Represent the organisation as an Expert Witness in court.
- Prepare Part 35-compliant expert reports.
- Manage legal disrepair claims in line with the Pre-Action Protocol.
- Conduct and oversee detailed technical inspections and defect analysis.
- Resolve complex disputes and support legal teams with expert insights.
What You'll Need:
- Building Degree MCIOB (or equivalent experience) or RICS
- Proven experience acting as an expert witness in disrepair for Social housing
- In-depth knowledge of HHSRS, Building Regulations, Planning Permission, and Asbestos compliance.
- Strong understanding of disrepair legislation and housing conditions protocol.
- Full UK driving license.
