Our client - a highly respected, family-run prestige dealership - is expanding and now looking for a skilled Technician to join their brand-new Service Centre in Staplehurst.

The Role

You'll be part of a passionate and collaborative workshop team, carrying out high-quality diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on a variety of vehicles. Duties include:

• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Conducting detailed inspections of mechanical components
• Performing servicing and repairs to the highest standards
• MOT testing (if qualified)
• Road testing vehicles to ensure fault-free performance
• Communicating technical information clearly and professionally
• Maintaining great customer service to encourage repeat business
• Managing parts stock and contributing to workshop efficiency
• Keeping up to date with new technology and best practices
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised working environment

About You

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - preferred
• MOT Tester qualification - advantageous
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with a commitment to quality
• Full UK Driving Licence - essential
• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
