Forklift Operator

Location: Redditch

Pay: £12.41, potentially increasing to £12.88 after probation period

Hours: 07:15-16:15 Mon-Thu , 07:15-12:15 Fri - 39 hrs/week

Duties

• Receive, inspect, record, store, and dispatch materials.
• Load/unload vehicles using forklifts or pallet trucks
• Maintain stock accuracy and conduct regular stock checks
• Supply materials to production and move large/heavy items with lifting equipment.
• Complete delivery notes and digital records
• Work with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to maintain material flow
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse; follow all H&S and PPE rules.
• Support recycling, yard upkeep (incl. snow/ice), and spill response.

Required

• Warehouse/manufacturing/logistics experience.
• Good accuracy, communication, and teamwork.
• Able to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Counterbalance/Reach licence (Bendi/Flexi preferred).
• Basic computer skills (Excel, email, stock systems).
