The role will involve travelling to customer sites across the region to identify, classify, and safely pack hazardous waste for collection and disposal. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, and preferably some experience in the waste management or environmental services industry. This is a hands-on role within the waste industry, you will be checking and testing incoming loads, processing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring segregation and storage of hazardous waste meets requirements, labelling waste and completing documents on all incoming and outgoing chemical materials. This role would suit candidates with 2+ years' experience as a chemist on a hazardous waste transfer station.
