EdEx are working with 4 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Ealing who are looking for Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, and English.
The Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.
There are many routes into being a qualified teacher from this role, including the 12 week assessment only route, a schools direct initial teacher training programme, and a PCGE.
What will the role of an Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English entail?
- Have your own classes that you are responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively
- Provided schemes of work
- Working alongside the School covering all lessons
- Providing high quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis
- Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie
- Raising attainment & the quality of learning
- Inspiring & motivating young minds
- Managing behavior effectively
- ASAP Start - Full Time - Term Time Only
What are we looking for? - Unqualified Teachers, Science, Maths, English
- Academics:
- A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university
- Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
- Experience - Strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles:
- Unqualified Teacher
- Cover Supervisor
- HLTA
- Tutor (6 months+)
- Teaching Assistant (6 months+)
- Personality:
- Passionate about your subject specialism
- Committed to a career in education
- Comfortable teaching classes of 25-30
