Estimator
Inspire Resourcing are recruiting an Estimator on behalf of our client in Chesterfield.

- Evaluation of tender opportunities to ensure they fit with business capabilities, business model and risk profile.
- Estimating tender prices.
- Bid writing and preparation.
- Tender and client management including timely response to client queries and adherence to tender deadlines.
- Working closely with finance and operations teams to develop and maintain processes for accurate estimates of costs.
- Pro-actively seek feedback on job performance to inform future estimating.
- Identifying and implementing continual improvements to reduce cost for both the client and company
- Ensuring full and sufficient handovers to operations teams are made.
- Ensuring key tender assumptions/attendances are communicated to the commercial department and included in draft contracts.
Requirements:
- Previous commercial experience in Civil Engineering / Construction experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
