Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office)
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Infrastructure division in London. This is a permanent opportunity suited to professionals looking to contribute to major, high-profile infrastructure projects across transport, utilities, highways, and energy.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of complex capital programmes, working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure best-in-class cost, contract, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver cost management services across all stages of the project lifecycle, from feasibility to final account.
Prepare and analyse cost plans, estimates, and cash-flow projections for infrastructure schemes.
Support procurement activities, including tender documentation, evaluation, and contract recommendations.
Administer contracts under NEC, JCT or other relevant forms.
Manage change control processes, valuations, variations, and compensation events.
Lead or support commercial reporting, including cost forecasts, earned value, and performance metrics.
Provide risk, value engineering, and whole-life cost advice to clients.
Ensure compliance with Turner & Townsend quality standards and governance processes.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, project partners, and internal teams.

Required Experience & Skills

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the infrastructure sector (e.g., rail, highways, utilities, energy, water, or major civils).
Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 contracts JCT experience beneficial.
Demonstrable commercial and financial management capabilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar.
Professional membership or progression toward RICS (desirable).
