Job Title: Kitchen and Event Porters
Location: Various venues across Reading
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour, paid weekly
Hours: Flexible / Casual shifts

About the Role:

We are recruiting reliable Kitchen Porters and Event Porters to support a wide range of venues across Reading - including hotels, event spaces, nearby stadiums and private functions. Shifts are fully flexible, making this ideal for anyone looking to earn extra money around other commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting chefs and catering teams with general cleaning and kitchen duties

• Washing dishes, utensils and equipment via pot wash, plate wash or glasswash

• Cloakroom duties when required

• Keeping workstations clean, organised and safe

• Moving stock, equipment and furniture for event setups

• Assisting with event setup and breakdown

• Following all health & safety and food hygiene procedures

What We re Looking For:

• Experience as a Kitchen Porter, Catering Assistant or Event Porter is helpful but not essential

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong team ethic

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility for evenings, weekends and occasional short notice shifts
