The Role: Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to support the kitchen team in preparing, assembling, and maintaining high-quality food products in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. This is a 7-day operation, including weekends, so flexibility is essential.

You will play a key part in ensuring smooth operations by assisting chefs, maintaining hygiene standards, and helping with deliveries and storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs with food preparation and portioning
• Assemble and pack food items according to production requirements
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
• Follow food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Support with receiving, checking, and correctly storing incoming deliveries
• Keep workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean, organised, and well maintained
• Report any issues, shortages, or quality concerns to the Supervisor
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks needed to support kitchen operations
