About our client:
We are seeking an experienced Non-Executive Director (NED) to join the board of a well-established, family-owned electrical engineering company. With decades of success in the sector, the business is entering an exciting new chapter under the leadership of a newly appointed Managing Director.
Non Executive Director - The Role
As NED, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting the MD, offering strategic oversight and industry insight to help shape the company s future. Your expertise will strengthen their position in the power transmission and energy infrastructure markets, ensuring they continue to deliver innovative, reliable solutions.
Non Executive Director - You:
- Strong relationships with UK Distribution Network Operators (DNOs)
- Deep knowledge of products and solutions sold into power transmission and energy infrastructure
- Proven track record of leadership and governance within the electrical engineering industry
- Ability to mentor and guide a newly appointed MD, balancing tradition with growth ambitions
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a collaborative approach
