Support the business partnering team in revenue budget setting, monitoring, and year-end processes, including complex reconciliations and grant monitoring. Provide expert technical advice to schools, budget holders, and officers to aid decision-making. Ensure compliance with Internal Financing Reporting Standards and CIPFA's Code of Practice for Local Government Accounting. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the financial support provided to the Council and schools. Collaborate with internal departments and schools to resolve queries effectively. This is a permanent role and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience in Local Government finance as well as be studier for a CCAB qualification. The role requires circa 1 day a week in the office and the salary band is 42,771 to 45,750.
