Responsibilities of Sous Chef
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Prepare and deliver fresh, nutritious, and high-quality meals
- Assist with menu planning, stock control, and ordering
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
- Supervise and support kitchen staff during service
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and health & safety regulations
About you
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Experience working in high-volume catering environments
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Passion for fresh food and excellent customer service
- Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP procedures
