Reporting to a senior manager and working in a small team of 4, your role involves: • Provide hands-on support across the stores, warehouse and assembly areas. • Pick, pack and wrap stock, materials and pallets accurately and efficiently. • Prepare and pack stock ready for despatch. • Support goods in and goods out activity, including receiving, checking, moving and distributing materials. • Move materials, boxes and crates safely around the business and within the warehouse. • Book stock onto the system using a PC. • Pick stock and materials ready for production teams. • Kit stock and materials ready for production. • Carry out basic assembly tasks when required. • Help keep the stores and warehouse areas clean, organised and safe. To be successful for the stock controller role, you should ideally have previous warehouse, stock, stores or goods in and out related experience and be comfortable working in a busy stores area. You will be reliable, flexible and willing to support different parts of the department to help ensure products are manufactured in a timely and efficient way. A positive attitude, good attention to detail and good PC skills are essential.
