You'll help people develop independence, build confidence and move towards a future where they can thrive in employment and their community. If you've worked in education, you'll already understand many of the challenges your learners face. You may have supported young people with autism, learning disabilities or additional needs. You may have seen first-hand how difficult the transition into adulthood and employment can be. This role gives you the opportunity to continue making a meaningful difference, whilst supporting people through the next stage of their journey. What makes this different? You'll no longer be confined to a classroom. Instead, you'll be out in the community, getting to know the people you support, understanding their aspirations and helping them overcome barriers to employment. One day you might be meeting a learner at a local college. The next, speaking with an employer about creating an opportunity. You could be supporting someone during their first few days in a new job, helping them build confidence and settle into the workplace. You'll become an advocate, coach and mentor, helping people achieve goals that can genuinely transform their lives. What will you be doing?
