As a Service Advisor, you'll be the vital link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience from booking through to vehicle collection. Responsibilities & Requirements: Welcome customers and act as their main point of contact throughout the service and repair journey. Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate closely with technicians to maximise efficiency. Prepare accurate estimates, obtain customer authorisation and keep customers informed throughout the day. Identify opportunities to recommend additional repairs, service plans and value-added aftersales products. Complete job cards, invoices and all associated documentation accurately in line with manufacturer and company standards. Deliver an exceptional customer experience, building long-term relationships and encouraging repeat business. Our client is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy and friendly aftersales team. Operating within a long-established, family-run automotive business with an excellent reputation for customer service, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join a professional and supportive working environment. Working from a busy Service Centre, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a smooth, transparent and professional experience throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey. Responsibilities of a Service Advisor: Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle's service, MOT or repair journey. Book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate appointments efficiently. Liaise closely with technicians and workshop colleagues to ensure work progresses smoothly and customers are kept informed. Provide clear and accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance and repair work. Explain any additional work identified and obtain customer authorisation where required. Prepare invoices and clearly explain completed work and associated costs to customers. Promote and upsell additional products, maintenance and services where appropriate. Manage customer expectations and provide regular updates regarding vehicle progress. Ensure a high standard of customer service is maintained from initial booking through to vehicle collection. Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, technicians and colleagues across the business. The Package: Salary: £36,000 Basic + bonus - £40,000 OTE! As a Service Advisor, you play a crucial role within our service team, overseeing the seamless and customer-oriented service process. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor: Act as the adept liaison between our valued customers and the workshop and perform a thorough check-in of the vehicle, reviewing customer and vehicle data. Engaging directly with customers empowers you to significantly influence their satisfaction, culminating in the triumph of our aftersales operation. Oversee the repair workflow and coordinate additional repair services as needed. Maintain responsibility for job packets and related documentation.
