A loyal client to Sphere, are looking to employ a Project Manager for a local flagship scheme. The successful candidate will be based across a large new build major project in Bristol. It will be constructed over a minimum of 5 years and multiple phases. The end product will consist of a new build Campus, Auditorium, Office Blocks, Training Facilities, Restaurant, Kitchens, and underground Car Park. Your new company are a large UK Main Contractor, who specialise in Construction, Fit Out, and Major Regeneration schemes. My client are looking for a candidate with a strong Main Contractor / Tier 1 background, and where possible proven work history across major projects. Whilst working in this role, you will oversee day to day operations across an individual project, whilst reporting into a site based Contracts Manager for Phase 2 of the project starting later this year. Job Summary We are recruiting several Electricians with Testing Qualifications to join our client's growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. Duties Test, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Project Information: Work will be undertaken on a regional Water framework, which has over 500 sites requiring testing and remedial works. The AMP Programme runs for 5 years. The hours of work will be 49 paid per week, broken down as: Monday to Thursday 9 Hours Friday 8 Hours You'll also receive an hour for Travel per day. First 38 hours and travel paid at 28.50ph Overtime 37ph Therefore, the standard hours will be 49 per week (39 Basic + 5 Travel + 5 Overtime). Requirements ECS Card City & Guilds 2391 or Equivalent CompEx 1-4 is beneficial but not essential Proven experience as an Electrician and in Testing/Fault Finding Willingness to travel approx an hour between sites/home etc. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work. Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and components. Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred but not mandatory. A new client to Sphere are looking to appoint an Engineer, to commence a new role with immediate effect. Your new company are a large London based contractor, who specialise in RC Frame, Civils, Rail, and Aviation. They have recently secured multiple contracts in Bristol & South Wales, mainly across large Commercial Build schemes. The development in question is a £70M new build Campus Building in North Bristol, where my client are overseeing the Enabling Works and Groundwork / Civils package. You will be capable of undertaking duties such as Setting Out, QA, CAD, Surveys, and As-Built Drawings. An Engineering Degree / Qualification and CSCS would be essential.
