Health & Safety Coordinator Littlehampton Perm - FT (PT considered) £29000 - £35000 + Hybrid Working + Benefits Hunter are delighted to be supporting a leading UK-based manufacturer supplying high-quality products to the medical sector. Health & Safety Coordinator - The Job Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of Health, Safety, and Fire Safety compliance across the site. You'll implement best-practice processes, lead audits and risk assessments, and guide the business toward ISO 45001 certification . This is a hands-on role within a collaborative, supportive team where your work will have genuine impact. Health & Safety Coordinator - Key Responsibilities Develop, review, and implement Health, Safety, and Fire Safety policies and procedures in line with UK legislation (Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH, PUWER, etc.) Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections to identify and mitigate risks Lead incident investigations , analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions Design and deliver training programmes including inductions, refresher courses, and emergency drills Oversee fire safety compliance , ensuring equipment checks and evacuation procedures are maintained Health & Safety Coordinator - The Fit Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent) Experience in a manufacturing H&S role (medical or healthcare advantageous) Strong understanding of UK H&S and Fire Safety legislation Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Competent in MS Office and H&S management systems Health & Safety Coordinator - The Benefits Hybrid working available.
