We are recruiting for a Finance Project Manager to manage a Unit4 finance project for our client based in Bath, This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days a week on site. As the Project Manager (Finance) you will: Manage the high-priority Unit4 finance system project that is key to the CLEAR programme. Develop a detailed project plan clearly identifying critical tasks and the resources needed to achieve them. Manage tasks, working with teams to mitigate issues that might impact timely completion. Collaborate and engage with diverse teams of academic and professional colleagues to tackle complex challenges. Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership, subject matter experts, and project team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. You will require a: An ability to work collaboratively with the finance team, system integrators and specialist resources. An appreciation of the pressures experienced within a finance department with an ability to be supportive while ensuring project tasks are completed to plan. Appropriate robustness in the direction of the project activities. An understanding of financial concepts, terms and processes. Experience of implementing finance systems, ideally with Unit4. And need to show: A passion for managing projects and an ability to inspire and engage others. A capability of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.

Job Description Key Requirements: Must be very familiar with working in a Data Centre and Corporate environment Minimum 3 years hands-on experience within the structured cabling industry Good understanding of various structured cabling solutions Capable of installing, terminating, and testing fibre optic cables Experienced in the use of Fluke test equipment and fault diagnosis Must have Health & Safety Training (CSCS, ECS, or local/country-specific H&S qualification) affiliated with the Construction Industry Training Board At least 3 industry or manufacturer installation accreditations (e.g., Commscope, Corning, Panduit, or other leading brands) Completion of an industry-recognised structured cabling and fibre optic training course (e.g., CNET CNIT, BICSI Engineer, BICSI Technician, City & Guilds, or BTEC equivalent) IPAF and/or PASMA training preferred (or local equivalent powered access certification) Technical Skills & Experience Experience installing cable pathways (basket trays, trunking, fibre runner) Ability to understand and follow patching schedules / cut sheets Experience installing power and data connection cables within server and networking racks Experience in rack and stack of active network hardware, including switches, routers, and servers Ability to follow instructions and provide on-site support to remote network and systems administrators Basic IP addressing knowledge (under instruction/direction) Experience installing and configuring UPS systems (desirable) Additional Requirements Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude Experience communicating with stakeholders at all levels Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and internationally for project work Flexibility to work nights, shifts, and weekends as required per project Flexible working hours This is an umbrella contract, the role is Inside IR35.
