Programme Controller with strong experience of large scale capital infrastructure projects required by a well-known, long-established company based in Sussex, who provide a vital service across critical national infrastructure. This Programme Controller role will see you working across strategic programmes which focus on capital infrastructure investments, and you'd be involved in planning, scheduling, cost projections and working with that data. We'd ideally like to see candidates from large scale infrastructure backgrounds such as construction, energy, rail, highways, utilities, oil & gas, mining etc, as it's important to understand how programme financials work in these types of settings. You'll must have good exposure to programme values in excess of £200m, and not just following due process but thinking outside the box. In this role you will be involved in programme values between £400m and £2bn - so prior exposure managing these sorts of budgets is a hard requirement. Any additional understanding of utilities or national infrastructure regulation and compliance would be a bonus. As you'll be supporting the strategic leadership team with reports and analysis, you'll need strong knowledge of excel, and Oracle's Primavera P6 platform would be a nice-to-have. Programme Controller requirements: Career experience as a Programme Controller, programme planner/analyst or similar role supporting the delivery of large infrastructure/capital projects Strong ability to understand programme data and draw conclusions on project overspending and general forecasting Sector experience - national infrastructure backgrounds such as construction, energy, rail, highways, utilities, oil & gas, mining etc is essential Reporting: Excellent grasp of Excel and working with data, with exposure to Oracle's Primavera P6 platform a bonus Adept in working on large-budget asset management/capital investment programmes (£400m - £2bn) across national infrastructure This Programme Controller role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 to £75,000 plus bonus plus excellent benefits. Solutions Architect with strong ArcGIS experience is required to support a major utilities provider through a large-scale transformation of their Asset Management systems. This role is central to the delivery of a strategic programme replacing Legacy tools with ArcGIS and IBM Maximo. The Solutions Architect contract is initially for 6 months with a very high chance for extension. Hard requirements: Strong Career Experience with ArcGIS is essential Experienced Solutions Architect Demonstrable skills working on Asset Management systems/projects Some exposure to IBM Maximo is desirable You must be happy with 2 days a week in the office (West Sussex) Solutions Architect Responsibilities: Leading the design of ArcGIS platform enhancements, including feature enablement and integration Producing high-quality design artefacts such as solution blueprints, HLDs, and component specs Acting as technical authority on ArcGIS across implementation and future improvement phases Supporting migration away from Legacy systems, with a focus on decommissioning and optimisation Presenting and reviewing architecture with peers, delivery teams, and business SMEs Advising on capability expansion within ArcGIS post-deployment They are offering a competitive day rate up to £700/day (Inside IR35), plus remote working, and you only need to go to their office (based in the Southeast) just 1 - 2 days a month for meetings.
