         Job Title: Nursery Teacher - Reception Class   Location:  Ealing, London   Contract:  Full-time / Part-time ( 4 days a week)   Salary:  Competitive, dependent on experience  About the Role:  We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to lead our Reception class of 12 children at our nursery in Ealing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early years education, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment to support children's development and readiness for primary school. Please note, NQT are accepted   Key Responsibilities:   Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.  Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that supports children's learning and wellbeing.  Monitor and assess each child's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to parents and management.  Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities.  Work collaboratively with nursery staff and parents to ensure consistent support and communication.  Promote positive behaviour management techniques and maintain classroom discipline.  Ensure all health and safety standards are met, maintaining a safe learning environment.  Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.   Essential Qualifications & Skills:   Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant early years teaching qualification (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent).  Experience teaching Reception or Nursery-aged children (preferably with small class sizes).  Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.  Ability to plan, organize, and adapt lessons to meet individual needs.  DBS clearance or willingness to undergo a DBS check.   Desirable Attributes:   Experience working in a multicultural or diverse community.
