Commercial Gas Engineer Location: Redditch (Depot-Based with UK Travel) Salary: £45,000 £55,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience) + Overtime + Enhanced Out of Hours Rates We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established energy solutions provider specialising in temporary and rapid-deployment commercial boiler systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer who is confident working on large-scale plant in a reactive hire environment. The role is primarily depot-based in Redditch when not attending installations, commissioning, servicing or breakdowns across the UK. The Role Installation, commissioning and decommissioning of temporary commercial boiler systems (600kW2MW, gas and oil) Servicing and fault finding on commercial plant Reactive breakdown response Working on forced draft burners and associated equipment Fault finding and working with BMS controls Supporting depot preparation and maintenance activities when not on site Ensuring high standards of safety, workmanship and customer service Working collaboratively within a team-focused environment This is a reactive role rather than planned maintenance. Engineers must be comfortable responding to urgent requirements and adapting to changing priorities.
