Reporting to the Directors, the Practice Accountant will build up to taking responsibility for a portfolio of individuals, owner managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients with turnovers up to the audit threshold. Ideally, within 6-12 months, you will develop into being the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day-to-day queries alongside ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and to deadline. Practice Accountant - Responsibilities include: Prepare year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies mainly FRS 105 , some FRS 102 1A Produce corporation tax computations and returns, plus personal tax work for business owners/directors Support clients with management accounts, VAT returns and general SME advice Review juniors' work depending on level and help with their development Build long-term client relationships and become a trusted point of contact Practice Accountant - Benefits: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that offers a competitive salary which is negotiable DOE, free parking, flexi-time and hybrid working.
