Key skills required from the Production Manager: Must have over 5 years working experience as a Production Manager A solid and proven background in CNC/ Machineshop environment We require someone who has exceptional people management, through delegation, empowerment, training and coaching Managing a team of up to 30 people Understanding of and daily use of basic ER & HR management procedures (inc. coaching others) Health & Safety & QMS manufacturing experience Defining and implementing 12-18month improvement plans Managing a manufacturing-engineering production within a modern factory Managing small change projects Methodically improving manufacturing standards and processes PC literate and self-starting to develop IT skills (excel/word/WHM/ERP etc) The successful Production Manager will to ensure that all manufacturing operations perform effectively by delivering people, customer & SQDC KPIs and goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. It is a key responsibility of this role to implement manufacturing excellence and develop capability by establishing and implementing an 6-12month department improvement plan.
