This role is ideal for an ambitious, self-motivated solicitor or legal executive looking to build and run a high quality caseload of general Private Client work. You will be dealing with a premium local client base, managing matters such as Will drafting, Estate Administration, Tax, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Private Client Lawyer Key Responsibilities Caseload Management: Autonomously run a full and varied caseload of Private Client matters, including complex Wills, Estate Administration, high-value Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Service Standards: Deliver the highest possible legal and service standards, ensuring clear, articulate, and compassionate communication with clients. Team Support: Act as a senior presence in the office by providing support and mentorship to junior members of the team. Financial Targets: Efficiently manage time recording and billing, motivating oneself to meet and exceed realistic firm profitability targets. Business Development: Proactively build lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts to encourage networking and the referral of future business to the firm. Key Skills Required Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor or CILEX with approximately 3 to 5 years PQE in private client law (candidates outside of this bracket with relevant experience are still welcome to apply). Accreditations: STEP or SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly) accreditation is highly desirable, or a strong ambition to work towards acquiring these. Autonomy: Proven ability to work independently, utilise resources effectively, and manage time efficiently under own initiative. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal and tax information accurately and empathetically to clients. Systems Literacy: Previous experience utilising a legal case management system is highly advantageous. A CBCI qualification or equivalent is desirable.
