Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with UK and EU food safety regulations, including FSA requirements and EU food law. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and standards (BRCGS, HACCP, FIC, Natasha s Law). Oversee product labelling and packaging compliance for UK/EU markets. Manage allergen risk assessments and implement control measures across production and supply chain. Support internal, customer, and third-party audits (e.g., BRCGS). Prepare and maintain product specifications and assist with supplier approvals. Handle documentation and regulatory liaison during audits or product recalls. What We re Looking For Minimum 3 years experience in food safety or quality assurance within oriental food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation, allergen and labelling regulations. Degree in Food Science or equivalent, with Level 3 HACCP certification. Experience with GFSI-recognised standards (e.g., BRCGS). Familiarity with customer portals for specification and artwork submission (Tesco, Sainsbury s). Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid right to work in the UK.
