Our client, one of the UK's leading contractors in the medical and clean-room refurbishment and fit-out arena have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team. Based from their offices in Dartford, Kent our client have seen rapid growth over the past 4 years, driven by their successfully securing framework agreements with many healthcare trusts and medical imaging suppliers alike. Individual contracts range in value from 20k up to 10m each and typically comprise of a soft strip and refurbishment to a very high standard of finish. Most projects are based in London and the Home counties. Ideally from a Carpentry or Decorating background, the successful candidate will need to hold a valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualification. You will also need to be IT literate and have a UK driving license. Typically working 7am to 4pm, Site Managers are normally site-based for the duration of the program, overseeing sub-contractors, ensuring site health & safety is observed, liaising with the client, internal design and commercial teams and external stakeholders. Ideally qualified to degree or NVQ Level 7 standard , the successful candidate will also need to hold a valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualification. You will also need to be IT literate and have a UK driving license. Other desired skills include: Experience of programming via Asta projects Asbestos Awareness & Working at Height Understanding of HTM requirements Typically working 7am to 4pm, Project Managers roles are based from the Dartford head office, from where you will then be expected to go out and visit your sites and liaise with your Site Managers and clients. Other responsibilities will include: Managing multiple projects from design to completion and beyond Producing RAMS/CPP Producing programs Ensuring projects are delivered to time, budget and quality Attend client meetings Issuing delay notices/EOT's Ensuring H&S adhered to Liaising with internal design and commercial teams and external stakeholders. Customer Care Operative Location: Covering Devon & surrounding areas Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 PA, dependent on experience and competencies Type: Permanent PW Construction are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Operative to deliver high-quality repairs and aftercare services across newly built residential properties across Devon and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities Carry out a broad range of maintenance, remedial and warranty works within occupied and unoccupied new-build homes. Undertake multi-trade tasks such as carpentry, joinery, basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling, decorating, mastic work, and minor electrical repairs (within competency). Handle issues efficiently and complete works to a high standard, ensuring compliance with internal quality expectations. Liaise with customers professionally, updating them on work progress and ensuring minimal disruption within their home. Work closely with the Customer Care team to schedule appointments, report completed works, and escalate any issues requiring specialist attention. Maintain accurate records of materials used, completed tasks, and time spent on jobs. Ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines, risk assessments, and method statements. Skills & Experience Proven experience in a maintenance, multi-trade, aftercare role within residential construction or property services. Strong proficiency in several core trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating). Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills, especially when working in occupied homes. Ability to work independently, problem-solve on site, and manage workloads effectively. Competent understanding of health and safety requirements. Full UK driving licence is essential. Job Role: Mechanical Project Manager Area: Kent London & Surrey Salary: £60k - £70k My client is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to run a large contract over various location. As Contracts Manager you will need to have come from a Mechanical background and have worked within the commercial fit out sector. This role will be covering Kent London & Surrey. Responsibilities: Developing the business operations alongside directors Develop existing client project managers, staff, and sub-contract supply chains The ability to work well under pressure and hit deadlines Work closely with Senior Managers / Supervisors Manage project cost procurement, analysis, appraisal, and budgeting. Ensure programs are agreed upon with clients and contractors before project commencement, updated as needed, and key deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will be: Mechanical Engineering City and Guilds or equivalent 3-5+ years' experience in a similar position ideally Health and Safety qualification, SMSTS, CSCS Managers black card essential.
