Job Role: Design Engineer Sprinklers Area: London Salary: £60k £65k + Package Our client is currently looking for an experienced and detail driven Design Engineer to join their fire protection team, specialising in the design, coordination and technical delivery of sprinkler systems. The role involves producing compliant and fully coordinated sprinkler designs, supporting installation teams, managing approvals, and ensuring all projects meet industry standards, client requirements, and statutory regulations. Responsibilities Produce detailed sprinkler system designs, drawings and calculations in accordance with relevant standards. Prepare system layouts, hydraulic calculations, material specifications, and installation drawings. Ensure designs integrate with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. Review, check and amend drawings and calculations prepared by junior technicians or external consultants. Prepare as-built drawings and O&M documentation. Ensure all designs meet relevant building regulations, fire protection standards, and insurer requirements. Respond to RFIs, resolve design queries, and address on-site technical challenges within required timescales. Position Requirements Relevant engineering or building services qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent preferred). Proven experience designing sprinkler or fire protection systems. Strong working knowledge of relevant building/fire regulations. Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit or other BIM tools beneficial). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Job Role: Senior Project Manager Area: London Salary: £80k - £90k My client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to cover the project over the UK. As Project Manager you will lead the full project life cycle and deliver multiple complex projects ensuring the high standards and deadlines are met. Success in this role will require the development of effective working relationships with clients, contractors and senior leaders in the business. Responsibilities: Responsible for new sites feasibility studies, providing detailed risk analysis and top line estimates for clients. Manage entire project life cycle from cradle to grave. Manage all budgets, administration and cost sign off. To value engineer all elements of construction without compromising the quality of the build. Ensure all external consultants including design and architecture deliver on time and on budget. Influence and oversee all health and safety compliance. Responsible for all programming, schedules, and project delivery dates. Effective communication with all key stake holders through accurate and timely reporting. Ensuring all projects are compliant with relevant statutory legislation. To ensure that Contractors and Suppliers provide an efficient service, value for money, and are fully compliant with all health and safety legislation. Produce weekly client updates and briefs. The ideal candidate will be: Experience within the F&B is essential. Significant experience of client-side Property and Project Management within a large multi-site organisation. Previous experience of refurbishments and maintenance management is desirable. An ability to take off and measure drawings and to provide written specifications including schedules of works. Has excellent technical understanding of all project including mechanical, electrical and structural. Excellent knowledge of CDM and compliance legislation. Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating cohesive team working and stake holder management.
