Our Client is looking for a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable function while leading and developing a small AP team. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth, accurate, and timely processing of supplier payments, reconciliations, and month-end activities, while maintaining exceptional service standards across the business. Person / Experience Required - Oversee the day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, payment runs, and month-end completion. - Lead, support, and develop the AP team through regular coaching, reviews, and team meetings. - Act as the main escalation point for supplier queries, payment issues, and process-related disputes. - Build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal departments to maintain high service standards. - Identify and implement process improvements while ensuring strong financial controls and fraud prevention measures are maintained. Manage the company Barclaycard account, including administration, reconciliations, and transaction processing. - Support management with ad-hoc finance and operational duties as required. Key Skills Required - Experience managing or supervising an Accounts Payable team. - Experience working within fast-paced or multi-entity environments. - Knowledge of intercompany transactions and reconciliations. - Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs. - Strong leadership and team management capability. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Temporary Labourer / Driver Location: UK-wide Pay Rate: 13.00 - 14.00 per hour Duration: Mid-July to End of September 2026 We are recruiting on behalf of our client for 1-2 reliable and hardworking Labourers/Drivers to support a busy project period from mid-July through to the end of September. This is a varied role involving both warehouse-based work and travel to customer sites across the UK. Successful candidates will be physically fit, practical, and able to use their initiative while working as part of a team. The Role General labouring and manual handling duties Assisting with loading and unloading equipment and materials Working both in the warehouse and on customer sites Driving company vehicles, including Transit vans and 3.5-tonne Luton box vans Supporting site installations and project work Following health and safety procedures at all times What We're Looking For Full UK Driving Licence (essential) Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Reliable, punctual, and hardworking Good practical skills and common sense Flexible and willing to travel and work away from home when required Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions Warehouse-based work: 08:30am - 4:30pm / 5:00pm Site-based work: Typically 06:00am - 6:00pm Travel across the UK, predominantly South of Birmingham What's Included 13.00 - 14.00 per hour Hotel accommodation provided when working away Meals and food provided during site work Company vehicles supplied for travel Opportunity to work on a range of projects with an established business If you're a dependable, hands-on individual with a full driving licence and are available for a temporary assignment from July to September, we'd like to hear from you.
