We re looking for a detail-driven, resilient Quality Assurance Inspector to join our client for a 3 month fixed term contract. Ensuring product quality, from intake to dispatch, you ll play a critical role in maintaining compliance, supporting operations, and upholding their commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Conduct full product and packaging inspections against company specifications Complete accurate QA reports without disrupting operations Fast-track product release to depot when quality standards are met Verify label information, packaging materials, and barcode accuracy Monitor and control labelling systems and coding records Perform defect assessments and take corrective action when tolerances are exceeded Oversee bunkered lines and ensure product meets spec pre- and post-wash Maintain shelf-life records and support intake sampling and testing Collaborate with line operatives to ensure proper handling and waste reduction Assist with general packhouse duties, including temperature and chlorine checks, weighhead calibration, and hydrometer testing Requirements Essential: (A C) in Maths and English (or equivalent) Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Previous experience in a factory environment Strong communication, accuracy, and decision-making skills Assertive, resilient, and systematic approach to work Desirable: QA experience and produce knowledge Basic Food Hygiene Certificate HACCP knowledge Access database skills Eagerness to grow and develop within the team
