SG Personnel are working with a busy manufacturing company in Washington who are looking to recruit a Machine/Production Operator, which could lead to a permanent transfer for the right fit. The role will involve preparing material for production, operating machinery and inspecting finished product. The company are not in the automotive sector. The shop floor is a very well organised and clean environment. Hours of work are weekly rotating, 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8am-1pm on Friday and Monday to Thursday 8am-8pm, on 12.80 per hour.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a qualified Pipefitter on a permanent basis to join their expanding team. This role will involve working away Monday to Friday on sites across the UK. SG Personnel are working with a market leading printing company in Newburn, who are looking to recruit a team of packing/assembly operatives to work on an ongoing basis, which could lead to a permanent transfer for the right fit. Duties will include: Hand packing and collation at benches Palletising of work Making boxes and use of tape gun Occasional machine operating work No specific experience is required, however previous bench packing experience would be advantageous. The shift times are: Dayshift, 9am-5pm Lates, 12pm-8pm Nightshift, 10pm-6am Shifts are very flexible and are notified on a weekly Ad-hoc basis. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour across all shifts.

SG Personnel are working with an established manufacturing/engineering business, based in Newcastle, who are looking to recruit a Welders Mate on a temporary to permanent basis. Duties will include practical assistance to the welding/fabrication crew. Some experience within a welding/engineering environment is essential. Working hours are 7.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday, on £14.53 per hour.

SG Personnel are working with a large and established manufacturing business who are looking to recruit a machine operator on a temporary to permanent basis. This will be working on a dayshift only basis initially. Duties will include loading large press machines with steel and checking finished products. Training will be provided for the operation of the machines. Candidates will ideally have experience of working in similar roles within a heavy manufacturing environment. Working hours are 7.30am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday, on £13.48 per hour.

SG Personnel are working with an established manufacturing company in Washington who are looking to recruit a Press Machine Operator on a temp to perm basis. The transfer to permanent could happen anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks worked depending on upon performance and attitude. The role involves operating a metal press machine and following SOP instructions. Candidates must have previous machine operating experience, ideally producing metal components. Hours of work are weekly rotating 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm earlies and lates. Rate of pay is 13.89 per hour across both shifts.

Duties include operating machines such as Inca X3 and Vutek printers, as well as being responsible for Printer maintenance, following job sheets and working to tight deadlines. Previous digital print/print industry experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Hours of work are: 2 week shift rotating earlies and backs. Monday to Thursday, earlies 6am-2.15pm and 2pm-10.30pm backs. Friday, 6am-12pm earlies and 12pm-6pm backs. Rate of pay is 12.21 per hour plus 20% shift allowance once 4 weeks training has concluded.
