The Role As a Senior Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for specifying, testing, validating, and qualifying newly developed power electronic products , including motor drives, SMPS, and DC-DC converters. Working as part of a cross-functional engineering environment, you will collaborate closely with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineers , as well as project management and product/quality teams. Key responsibilities include: Creating and executing New Product Integration (NPI) Validation and Verification test plans Defining validation test criteria, procedures, and methodologies Identifying, specifying, and building test environments and test setups Testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies, components, and circuits within power conversion systems Supporting product qualification and compliance activities Working with internal teams and external test laboratories when required Key Requirements Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience in a test, verification, or QA validation role at system level (HW/SW) Experience working with power electronic systems Experience with high-voltage systems (200V - 800V DC) is advantageous Experience of compliance testing such as EMC, vibration, IP ratings, and/or UL standards would be beneficial Strong practical and analytical engineering mindset Highly organised, proactive, and capable of working independently Good understanding of safe working practices and H&S Technical knowledge in: Switching power converters Circuit analysis Design of experiments (DoE) Quality management systems such as ISO 9001, TS16949, or ISO 26262 Product regulatory standards including EN1175, EN13849, UL0583, and EN12895 Additional Information Hybrid working: 4 days on-site/1 day from home Occasional travel to external test laboratories Clear career progression opportunities Opportunity to work on advanced power electronics technologies within a globally backed organisation Interested? Contractor required to manage RF Lab and the test equipment contained for a leading edge wireless/semiconductor client. Contractor will need background at Semiconductor company and be a strong electronic engineer with in depth RF experience. The role will be working and managing an RF Lab and the test equipment within. A Project Manager is needed for a company who specialise within the Electronics industry to manage several projects working on new product development. The company operate with 4 days on site and 1 from home with flexible working and a half day on a Friday! The successful applicant will be responsible for the following: Building secure and performant browser-based applications which integrate with or interact with our core business systems. Building and maintaining a diverse portfolio of software solutions - from small-scale tactical utilities to larger-scale strategic web-based applications - in line with our clients technology stack (.NET Core/SQL/Blazor/Azure). Developing both internally accessible and externally (Internet) facing applications. Writing clean, functional code on both the front and Back End - as part of a small team, so a broad and generalist knowledge of all aspects of development is required. Maintain awareness of web application security and building applications which meet high standards of security, pass penetration tests and align with OWASP recommendations. Taking an active part in the whole Software Development Lifecycle and end-to-end including conception, design, architecture, build and deployment. Essential skills: Minimum of 2-3 years' experience of developing secure customer-facing browser-based software applications - ideally within our technology stack of Blazor, .NET Core, SQL, Azure or equivalents. Experience of deploying web applications using DevOps approaches and a CI/CD pipeline framework - ideally in Azure, but other equivalent experience considered.
