We are seeking a Mechanial Technician to join our manufacturing client in the Burseldon area. This role involves supporting production operations by maintaining equipment/machinery, performing minor repairs, and ensuring optimal machine performance. You do not need previous experience in this exact role, anyone with a mechanical background can be considered. Full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Carry out basic mechanical maintenance on production equipment Assist with machine breakdowns, performing basic machine repairs and adjustments Escalate issues and support corrective actions Collaborate with Maintenance/Engineering for fault-finding and improvements Support trials, training, and CI initiatives Ideal Candidate Strong communication skills (verbal and written). A mechanical background or hands on technical skills Adaptable to a fast-paced production environment. Current / previous Fabrication experience will be required for this role. Key Responsibilities. Reading and understanding engineering drawings for company specifications Constructing assemblies Fabricate, assemble, form, reshape, rework and repair the site's products Mark out sheets and products using measuring and marking tools. Assemble components by using various welding and jointing techniques Carry out weld testing and inspection Ideal Skills & Experience The ideal background would be to have some fabrication experience.
