Job Title: Tax Accountant/Assistant Tax Manager Location: London (Hybrid) Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Type: Contract (initial 6 months term, with potential for extension or permanent opportunity) Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Tax Accountant/Assistant Tax Manager on behalf of a global professional services organisation. This hybrid role is based in London and sits within a collaborative UK tax team. It offers a great opportunity to work in a well-established, supportive environment with scope for future development. Key Responsibilities: Prepare UK corporate tax returns, tax provisions, reconciliations, and financial analyses Support US tax reporting and associated year-end obligations Conduct risk reviews and assist in tax planning and process improvements Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including auditors and tax advisors Assist in enhancing tax compliance controls, governance, and reporting Ideal Candidate: Qualified (ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, HMRC equivalent or by experience) Strong technical knowledge in UK Corporation Tax and experience with US tax reporting Confident in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and tax software (eg, OneSource or AlphaTax) Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and organised Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team Working Arrangement: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch break) Hybrid working model, with occasional travel to sites across London May involve working one weekend annually to support year-end US tax reporting
