Your new company Our client is a leading defendant firm with offices across the UK. They are currently looking to strengthen their Manchester motor fraud department and will consider qualified fraud solicitors/Associates at all levels. You will handle your own caseload of motor fraud cases. This is a hybrid position with up to 3 days working from home per week. Your new role This Motor Fraud Solicitor position will see you responsible for: Handling your own caseload of motor fraud claims, including low velocity impact, bogus passengers and exaggerated claims. Handle interlocutory proceedings, case management conferences, and client meetings with professionalism and attention to detail. Support Partners in servicing existing clients, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening client relationships through technical expertise and innovative approaches. Attend court hearings, pre-trial meetings, and adhere strictly to court timetables and procedural requirements. Maintain high standards of file management, including drafting initial and updated reports, correspondence, and legal documentation. Ensure compliance with client-specific SLAs, particularly in relation to reporting and reserving protocols. What you'll need to succeed You must be a qualified solicitor with previous experience handling your own caseload of insurance fraud matters. Applicants should be from a defendant background. Newly qualified solicitors should have paralegal experience or have completed a training seat within insurance fraud.
