Quality Technician Our well established and forward-thinking client based in the Shropshire Countryside surrounding Much Wenlock is looking for a permanent full time quality technician, as they are at the stage they need to bring a new person due to expansion who can work with the existing Quality Engineering team to support both Supplier, Internal and customer quality. You will be overseeing the quality assurance across UK and international suppliers, leading problem-solving activities (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone) and manage corrective actions, driving supplier performance, NCRs and root-cause investigations. In addition, you will be supporting customer meetings, inspections and technical reviews, producing quality KPI reports and monitor defect trends, conducting internal audits and ensure compliance with QMS/EMS requirements, collaborating cross-functionally to improve quality, efficiency and customer experience whilst making sure you are contributing to continuous improvement. Ideal Candidate Previous experience in Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Engineer role within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (internal auditor status is a bonus) Experience generating and managing NCRs Strong problem-solving skills using RCA, 5 Whys and Fishbone Practical engineering experience (e.g., fabrication, injection moulding, aluminium casting) Ability to read technical drawings, including GD&T Proficient in inspection methods, gauging and test equipment Confident communicating, presenting and influencing stakeholders Strong numeracy, attention to detail and IT skills (Microsoft Office) Able to prioritise and manage a varied workload Proactive in identifying risks and proposing solutions Salary 30,000 - 36,000 Depending on experience Hours 8-5pm If you are interested in this vacancy, please click to APPLY.

Purchase Ledger Clerk Our well-known branded client based in the heart of Telford is looking for a part time temporary purchase ledger clerk for around six months to join the team and help them with their current workload. You will be processing high volume supplier invoices (uploading to approvals platform and sending to correct dept to approve) you will be doing frequent supplier statement reconciliations, employment expenses processing and handling of post. In addition, you will be setting up new suppliers on their accounting systems. (including verbal verification of bank details), processing of pro-forma invoices and being able to identify different VAT rates on invoices is essential.
