We are currently looking for dynamic individual to join our Change & Transformation Practice as a Technical Business Analyst; delivering a strategic system decommissioning project. The successful consultant will work across multiple business and technology teams to ensure Legacy platforms are disabled in a controlled manner, with all dependencies identified, risks mitigated, and key stakeholders aligned. This project requires a confident facilitator who can drive decision-making, lead workshops, and translate technical detail into clear business language for senior audiences. The role: Lead business analysis activities related to the disablement and decommissioning of Legacy systems, ensuring downstream business impacts are fully understood and documented. Identify and assess impacts across core functional areas including Treasury, Finance Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Front End Portals, and other consuming systems or platforms. Work closely with SMEs to evaluate migration options and scenario outcomes, ensuring both technical and business considerations are captured. Facilitate workshops and working groups, driving productive discussions, managing differing viewpoints, and securing sign-off on agreed solutions. Act as the central coordination point for issue resolution and escalation, ensuring timely progress and visibility of blockers. Engage all impacted teams to confirm their requirements, dependencies, and concerns are addressed throughout analysis and migration planning. Translate complex technical detail into clear business language for senior stakeholders, ensuring understanding of risks, impacts, and recommended actions. Prepare and deliver management information (MI), progress updates, and analysis packs for steering committees and senior forums. Collaborate with product and technology teams to build understanding of a broad range of products, including investment, trust, treasury, and custody solutions. Maintain a structured and well-governed approach to documentation, actions, RAID, mapping, and sign-off control. Key Skills and Experience: To succeed in this role you will need: Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally within the financial services or banking sector. Demonstrable ability to lead meetings, drive decisions, and challenge constructively where required. Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging SMEs, Programme Leads, and Senior Managers. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical impacts into business-focused messaging. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience producing clear, high-quality reporting and analysis. Structured, detail-oriented, and disciplined in documentation, impact assessment, requirements capture, and traceability. Familiarity with banking and investment products (Investment, Trust, Treasury, Custody). Experience in large-scale data migration or system transformation programmes. Proactive, inquisitive, and solution-focused approach, comfortable working through ambiguity. Interested? We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong background in finance and reconciliations to support a high-impact system migration project. The role will play a pivotal part in preparing for and executing financial reconciliations during key delivery milestones, including the critical go-live events. The Business Analyst will act as a bridge between Finance and Technology teams, ensuring reconciliation requirements are clearly defined, understood, and executed. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong stakeholder management, attention to detail, and the ability to distil complex financial and technical information into actionable insights for senior stakeholders. The role: Partner with Finance teams to define, document, and deliver reconciliation requirements for migration milestones. Identify and document types of reconciliations, expected volumes, data sources, and key dependencies. Work with IT teams to source and validate data extracts from systems such as Avaloq, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Ensure pre-, during-, and post-migration balances and loads align consistently and accurately. Support the design and build of dashboards, trackers, and runbooks to monitor reconciliation progress and status. Facilitate meetings, manage actions, and resolve blockers to maintain delivery momentum. Communicate complex financial and technical information clearly to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making. Maintain structured documentation and provide management reporting and MI updates to governance forums. Key Skills and Experience: To succeed in this role you will need: Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on finance reconciliations, preferably in a banking or financial services environment. Strong understanding of financial terminology, reconciliation logic, and reporting requirements. Demonstrable experience in data analysis, validation, and integrity checks. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive discussions and decisions across Finance and IT teams. Excellent organisational, planning, and facilitation skills to support structured migration events. Ability to produce concise, executive-ready reporting and MI packs. Hands-on experience with Avaloq or similar core banking systems. Experience supporting migration cutovers or go-live events. Familiarity with banking products including Investment, Treasury, Trust, or Custody. Experience designing reconciliation dashboards or operational trackers. We are seeking a highly experienced Market Risk Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support key risk transformation and regulatory initiatives within a leading financial institution. The successful consultant will bring deep functional knowledge of Market Risk, strong quantitative and regulatory understanding, and hands-on experience working with trading, risk, and technology functions to shape and deliver complex change. This is a delivery-focused, senior SME role suited to individuals who can bridge business, data, and technology - providing domain leadership and practical solutions across market risk functions. Key Responsibilities Act as the lead Market Risk SME, advising on methodology, controls, reporting, and system design across multiple risk workstreams. Provide expert guidance on risk models and calculations, including sensitivities, VaR, stress testing, P&L explain, and backtesting. Partner with risk, finance, and Front Office stakeholders to interpret regulatory requirements (eg FRTB, Basel III/IV, BCBS 239) and define their business and technical implications. Drive the design and implementation of market risk data architecture, ensuring consistency, transparency, and regulatory compliance. Review and validate risk data flows and aggregation processes, identifying gaps and recommending enhancements. Oversee risk reporting enhancements and ensure outputs meet governance, regulatory, and internal management expectations. Advise on data quality controls, data lineage, and integration across trading and risk platforms. Support programme governance, risk model reviews, and route-to-live readiness, ensuring robust delivery and sign-off. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the target operating model for market risk. Required Expertise Extensive experience (10+ years) in Market Risk within Tier 1 banks, financial institutions, or consulting environments. Deep understanding of risk methodologies (VaR, sensitivities, stress testing, capital, and backtesting). Proven track record delivering on regulatory programmes such as FRTB, Basel III/IV, BCBS 239, or risk data transformation. Strong knowledge of risk systems, data models, and reporting frameworks. Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for validation and analysis. Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence senior leadership and drive decision-making. Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments Understanding of Credit Risk and its integration with Market Risk frameworks. Familiarity with trading and product control processes across asset classes. Knowledge of risk data platforms, trade repositories, and model governance.
