Telecoms Field Engineer Glasgow 12 Month Contract £200-225/day (Outside IR35) Telecoms Field Engineer needed with strong Telecoms + Networking experience. Frequent travel to customer sites in Glasgow and across the Central Belt of Scotland. Full UK Driving Licence is essential. A company van will be provided for travel to multiple customer sites. Start by late November 2025. Working with a global IT Consultancy on projects for Telecoms + Utilities end clients. Key skills, experience + tasks: Previous experience as a Field Engineer in the Telecoms and/or Utilities domain sector. Hands-on installation, commissioning + maintenance on PDH, SDH, Microwave, DC Chargers, and IP Networks. Cisco + Alcatel product experience, LAN/WAN and MPLS. Providing first-line field support (24x7/on-call rota), and routine maintenance within SLA targets. Installation + commissioning of Telecoms Network equipment. Complete project documentation and communicate progress. Ensuring Health & Safety and quality compliance when working on site. NOC Team Lead (Network Service Operations Centre) 3 Month Rolling Contract Worcester (hybrid) £400/day (Outside IR35) Start Date: ASAP NOC Team Lead with strong technical expertise in Broadband with FTTH, FTTX, Fixed wireless access, Routing, Switching, CCNP . Start ASAP in October/November 2025. 3-month initial contract in Worcester. Strong probability of renewals. Hybrid working - typically 4 day/week working in the office + 1 days/week working remotely (WFH). A chance to work with a global IT Consultancy for a Telecoms end client. Key skills, experience + tasks will include: Proven experience Broadband with FTTH, FTTX, Fixed wireless access, Routing, Switching, CCNP & Above certifications. Proven experience in a NOC, Service Operations, or similar network management environment. Strong technical knowledge of IP Networking, FTTP, and fixed wireless access networks. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, ideally with experience leading distributed or offshore teams. Experience with monitoring platforms, ticketing systems and incident management tools. Certificates/Qualifications: Essential: experience working within an ISP or carrier environment NOC Desirable: C CNA or equivalent vendor certification. Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Management: Lead, coach and develop a team of 3 in-country and 4 offshore NOC engineers. Set clear objectives, performance metrics and ensure regular feedback and reviews. Incident & Problem Management: Oversee 24/7 incident detection, response and resolution across FTTP and FWA services. Operational Excellence: Maintain NOC procedures, playbooks and SLAs and ensure adherence to them.
