Head of Finance Arts & Culture Charity London / Hybrid An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Finance to join a dynamic arts and cultural charity with a turnover of approximately £3 million. The organisation plays an important role in supporting artistic practice and cultural dialogue through its programmes, partnerships and public engagement. This is a key leadership role within a small and collaborative organisation, offering the opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial foundations of a growing charity. The Head of Finance will take responsibility for the full finance function, ensuring strong financial stewardship while also supporting the strategic direction of the organisation. The role requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on comfortable operating at board level while also managing the day-to-day financial operations of the charity. Key responsibilities include: • Leading the organisation s finance function and overseeing all financial operations • Producing accurate and timely management accounts, budgets and forecasts • Supporting the leadership team and board with financial insight to inform strategic decision making • Ensuring strong financial controls, governance and compliance across the organisation • Overseeing budgeting for programmes, projects and operational activity • Managing cash flow and supporting longer-term financial planning • Preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors • Developing and improving financial processes, systems and reporting The organisation is seeking a proactive and solutions-focused finance leader who enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment and helping organisations build strong financial foundations. Technical Lead Estates East London £55,000-£59,000 salary + excellent benefits A major national cultural institution is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee engineering operations across its East London museum sites. This portfolio includes a collection store, a newly developed museum and a high-footfall family site all requiring robust mechanical, electrical and life safety systems to protect collections and ensure a safe, seamless visitor experience. The Role You will take responsibility for the performance, compliance and optimisation of all M&E and life safety systems across the estate. Key responsibilities: • Delivering planned and reactive maintenance • Ensuring full statutory compliance across M&E, public health and life safety systems • Managing MEP and life safety contractors, monitoring KPIs and service performance • Maintaining environmental conditions within collection spaces • Monitoring utilities and driving energy efficiency • Delivering minor works and refurbishment projects • Assessing system condition and recommending remedial works • Supervising contractors in line with CDM and building safety legislation • Acting as technical lead on capital projects and commissioning • Managing budgets and procurement processes • Participating in a 24/7 emergency response rota • Embedding sustainability and inclusive working practices About You You will hold a recognised qualification (or equivalent experience) in mechanical, electrical or building services engineering. Entertaining, educating and engaging with visitors from around the world, they are looking to appoint an interim Finance Business Partner to support them through their budgeting cycle. Reporting into the Head of Financial Reporting and Analysis, key responsibilities will include: Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to your business area, providing high-quality financial analysis and insight. Oversee financial performance through analysing variances, trends, modelling and scenario planning. Supporting the department to review current working practices and processes, making recommendations with both efficiencies and commerciality in mind. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant and have a proven track record in finance business partnering and analysis. A good level of Excel and an engaging can-do approach are also essential. Preference for candidates with a Not-for-Profit background. This role has been assessed as inside of IR35. With flexible office working practices, this role would be based in their London office 2 days a week.
