We're recruiting on behalf of our client for an Installation Technician to join their growing operations team based in Daventry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on retail installations across some of the UK's busiest shopping centres, helping to create eye-catching retail and promotional spaces for leading brands. The Role As an Installation Technician, you'll be responsible for installing and dismantling retail kiosks, promotional displays, and equipment in shopping centres across the UK. As installations are completed outside of normal trading hours, the majority of work is carried out overnight. The role operates on 5 days out of 7 rota, so flexibility is essential. This may include weekends and varying shift patterns depending on business requirements. Regular travel across the UK is required, with occasional overnight stays. When you're not on-site, you'll support warehouse operations at the Daventry depot, preparing equipment and ensuring everything is ready for upcoming installations. Key Responsibilities Install and dismantle retail kiosks and promotional equipment in shopping centres across the UK. Load and unload company vehicles with installation equipment and materials. Carry out routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Travel nationwide for installations and collections, with occasional overnight stays. Support warehouse operations, including equipment preparation, stock organisation, and inventory management. Maintain high standards of health and safety while delivering quality installations. What We're Looking For A practical, hands-on individual with experience using tools, assembly work, carpentry, or similar practical skills. Electrical and/or vinyl wrapping experience would be an advantage but is not essential. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and a 5 out of 7 working pattern. Willingness to travel throughout the UK as required. A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
