Midday Support Assistant required to join the team in an Upminster School supporting children with Learning Difficulties and Complex Needs during the lunchtime period of the day. This Midday Support Assistant role would be perfect for someone wanting to gain further experience within a school setting and looking to work school hours around family life. To start as soon as possible, Monday - Friday 2 hours a day with potential of being offered extra hours - Term time only Midday Support Assistant Role: Assist the children during the lunchtime period to ensure a safe and happy play as 1-1 support. Supervising the children whilst eating at meal times, being mindful of their dietary requirements and ensure they are adhered to accordingly. Monitor the behaviour of the children, discouraging any negative behaviour in a positive way and ensuring any incidents are reported as appropriate.
