A digital platform team is hiring a Product Manager to own technology product backlogs and help internal teams get more value from shared application and data platforms. The role combines product discovery, backlog ownership and stakeholder management in a complex technical environment. Responsibilities Apply product management principles to internal technology platforms and services. Own and communicate product roadmaps, taking challenge from stakeholders and adjusting based on evidence. Define and refine product vision using a broad range of inputs (user needs, technical constraints, policy and strategy). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and prioritise backlog items based on value, effort and overall business outcomes. Use iterative, test-and-learn approaches to deliver new features and live-service improvements at pace. Explain and justify prioritisation and trade-offs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Set clear direction so colleagues and stakeholders understand objectives, activities and timeframes. Skills and experience Strong experience managing technology or software products, ideally platforms used by multiple teams. Comfortable working autonomously within a clear framework, using judgment to respond to complex issues. Proven stakeholder management skills, including influencing across departmental or functional boundaries. Ability to communicate complex technical product topics in plain language. Experience with discovery, Alpha/beta/live phases, and iterating products over time to meet evolving user needs.
