Job description - Risk Analyst (Banking) As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely production of risk reports, execution of daily control checks, and maintenance of risk systems and data. The position ensures that market and credit risk information is complete, reliable, and ready for management sign-off. In addition, the role contributes to process integrity by maintaining accurate documentation, supporting system functionality, and providing data analysis to strengthen the Risk Management framework. Key responsibilities -Risk Analyst In this Risk Analyst role, you will be: Produce and deliver Daily Routine Reports, including Market, Credit Ris,k and P&L reports Prepare data and compile Weekly, Monthly, and ad hoc Reports as and when is required Load Daily Market Rates into the company Risk System and Accounting system Maintain the data within the system required for reporting and set up of rates/pricing data for products traded by the dealing room, with line manager supervision Test functionality within Deal capture and Market Risk systems Escalate exceptions, data issues, or breaches of reporting thresholds to the line manager promptly. Maintain logs of control activities, ensuring proper audit trail and sign off for all reports. Undertake small projects assigned by the line manager in relation to Risk controls/framework. Job requirements - Risk Analyst (Banking) For this Asset Operations Analyst role, you will need: A minimum of a 2:1 in either Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Math Commercial experience in a similar role in banking or financial services would be a huge plus! A confident Excel user - you must have your VLookUps and Pivot tables on point!
